Fitness Goals – Week 5 Recap

Fitness Goals – Week 5 Recap

As I’m sitting down to write the recap of my fitness goals progress, I am encouraged that the hard weeks are behind me. If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, then you should take a look at my week three and four recaps.

Let’s just say it has been a hard couple of weeks, but alas, I see the light at the end of the tunnel!

My shoulder feels great now, and my back spasms are gone. Eureka!

I am still wearing a heart monitor, but since I stopped drinking caffeine, I have had ZERO heart palpitations. I am also watching my sugar intake so that could be part of it. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to my sweets addiction. I’m sure I will live.

I’m just encouraged that I’m doing better so hopefully the potholes will now just be small bumps in the road.

That being said, I have not been able to work out much this week due to doctor’s orders so my workouts have been slim. I am just looking forward to the first full week where I can really focus on meeting my fitness goals!

Here is a list of the workouts I did this week. (and the things that made me feel like I worked out!)

Monday

Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning…I was tired.

Fitbit: 6,552 steps

Tuesday

2 mile walk with family

Playing at the playground

Fitbit: 10,666 steps

Wednesday

Fitbit: 7,332 steps

Thursday

2 mile walk with family

Fitbit: 9,568 steps

Friday

Favorite Exercises Before Bed

Fitbit: 8,566 steps

Saturday

Blogilates – Fat Burn Focus, Ab Focus & Fat Burn Cardio

Fitbit: 9,060 steps

Sunday

Vacuumed the entire house, two loads of dishes, six loads of laundry, chased kids around the house, took out four bags of trash…Let just say, I was tired when I finally sat down!

Fitbit: 7,897 steps

Results

Goal #1: Workout at least 20 minutes a day on 5 different days per week. Not quite! Definitely going for this next week!

Goal #2: Walk at least 8,500 steps per day. Met 4 of 7 Days! Not bad considering I was barely allowed to work out! I’ll take it!

Goal #3: Include my kids in at least one workout per week. Check!

Concerns

I’m tired of talking about my concerns. It has felt like the more concerns I’ve written about, the more of them seem to pop up. I know that’s not really the case, but I’m sticking with that thought process for the time being.

I am doing well at the moment, and I’m grateful that I’m alive and healthy! That’s all I can ask for!

I hope you all have a great start to your week!
